At Relicx ("we," "our," or "us"), operated by Shahriyar (shahriyarlabs@gmail.com), one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users. This Privacy Policy outlines the types of information collected and how we use it, in compliance with Google Play Developer Policies, Google AdMob Program Policies, and applicable data protection regulations.
1. Information We Collect
To deliver our gamified English learning experience, we collect the following categories of information:
- Account Information: When you sign in via Google Sign-In, we collect your display name, email address, profile picture URL, and a unique player identifier to manage your account.
- Game Progress & Virtual Currency: Your player stats (XP, diamond balance, unlocked themes, completed stories, Word Vault vocabulary cards, Scout Bot rewards, and leaderboard rank) are securely saved in cloud servers and local device storage.
- User-Generated Content: If you upload stories via Story Upload Pass or Prime membership, your story text, title, tags, and cover images are stored securely on our cloud servers.
- AI Chat & Story Data: When interacting with AI story characters or using the assistant, your text queries are processed to generate learning responses. Chat inputs are not used to train public AI models.
- Device Diagnostics & App Performance: Anonymous crash reports and basic performance metrics are collected to diagnose bugs and maintain app stability.
- Advertising Data (Google AdMob): When you choose to watch rewarded ads, Google AdMob SDK may collect device identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), device type, and general app interaction data to deliver and measure advertisements in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To manage your player account and seamlessly synchronize your game progress across devices.
- To securely process In-App Purchases for Diamond Packs and Prime VIP memberships via official Google Play Billing.
- To update global leaderboards, achievements, and player ranks.
- To send optional push notifications for Scout Bot rewards and event reminders (you can disable notifications at any time in device settings).
- To diagnose bugs, prevent crashes, and optimize the game experience.
- To display optional rewarded video ads and grant in-game Diamonds upon ad completion.
3. Third-Party Services & Data Protection
- Google Play Services & Billing: Handles secure in-app payments and purchase verification.
- Google Cloud & Firebase Infrastructure: Provides high-security user authentication, encrypted game save syncing, operational stability monitoring, and push notifications.
- Google AdMob: Delivers optional rewarded video advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers to personalize ads. Users can reset or opt out of ad personalization at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads. See Google's Privacy Policy.
- AI Image & Story Services: Generates story illustrations and learning quizzes dynamically based on educational story content.
We do NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third parties for advertising or commercial marketing purposes.
4. Rewarded Advertising (Google AdMob)
🛡️ Our Ad Policy — Full Transparency
Relicx uses optional rewarded video ads powered by Google AdMob. Here's exactly how they work:
- 100% Optional: You choose to watch an ad to earn Diamonds. No core feature requires ad viewing.
- Reward Structure: Watch up to 5 rewarded ads/day for 5 free Diamonds each (25 Diamonds/day total).
- No Interstitial Ads: We do not display forced interstitial or banner ads that interrupt gameplay.
- Data Collected by AdMob: Device advertising ID (GAID), app usage data, device info. Opt out via Android Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- Children: Personalized ads are not shown to users under 13. Our app targets ages 13+.
5. Data Retention and Security
Your user data is retained as long as your account remains active. We implement industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit and use Firebase's secure authentication and Firestore security rules to protect stored data.
6. User Rights, Account Deletion & Data Erasure
In accordance with Google Play's User Data Policy, GDPR, and CCPA, you have full control over your personal information and game data. You may request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
🗑️ How to Delete Your Account & Associated Data
Option 1: In-App Instant Deletion (Recommended)
- Open the Relicx app on your Android device.
- Navigate to your Profile screen (bottom navigation bar).
- Tap on the SETTINGS tab.
- Scroll down to the ACCOUNT section and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm the prompt. Your Firebase Auth account, player profile, inventory, diamonds, and game history will be instantly and permanently deleted from our servers.
Option 2: Web / Email Deletion Request
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account, you can submit a deletion request directly to our privacy officer:

- Subject line:
Relicx Account Deletion Request - Include your Google account email address associated with your Relicx account.
- We will verify your request and permanently erase all account records and associated Firestore data within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted:
- Your player profile name, email address, avatar photo, and unique Player ID.
- Your virtual currency balances (Diamonds, Pink Diamonds, and Prime VIP status).
- Your learning records, Word Vault vocabulary cards, reading history, and story completion nodes.
- Your leaderboard ranks, faction membership, and Scout Bot exploration statistics.
Note: In-app purchase transaction IDs managed through Google Play Billing may be retained solely to comply with applicable tax, financial accounting, and legal requirements.
7. Children's Privacy
Relicx is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe your child has provided personal data, please contact us immediately at shahriyarlabs@gmail.com and we will delete it within 48 hours.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of Relicx after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
